" Some months ago at a competitor, I'd taken a watch to have a new battery installed. When it was done, I was charged an amount higher than the firm quote because my very-pedestrian watch had a "special battery."

I was skeptical and reluctant to return there, so this time tried Shammas to have a band adjusted for size. I was given a wide range of price on the phone, with the lower end so low as to doubt the veracity and just assumed my actual price would be at the high end of the scale at least, which still would've been fair. I was quite shocked to find the actual price to be the bottom price. Even better, when I decided later I wanted it adjusted a bit tighter, they would accept no further money.
